Vietnam Veterans of America Quad Cities Chapter 299
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with all veterans of the Vietnam War Era. We do this together by honoring and remembering our brothers and their service and sacrifice for our country.
Goals & Objectives:
We stand with and support our national organization, Vietnam Veterans of America.
We honor the memories of our brothers-in-arms who have fallen or remain missing.
We welcome at our campfire all those currently serving as well as all veterans of the United States military and recognize them as our brothers.
We assist through our charity and our energy those of our ranks that suffer from residual problems resultant from their military service.
We are pro-active in our community and we strive to make a positive difference where we can.
And lastly, we will continue to earn respect for our service to our country and will strive to rehabilitate the media’s image of Vietnam Veterans. We served with honor then and we continue now in service to America.
I want to help bring awareness to the V. N. Vet’s and help with the trip to DC.
