When The Eagle Cried…

This 5 minute song will bring up long buried memories fo rall those that wore a uniform back on those times of turbulence and trouble. “There are no noble wars, only noble warriors.”

  1. I’ve had to take a few minutes to compose myself after listening to this song. I have long felt the VietNam solider was a much forgotten hero of this country. Having 4 brothers who all served during that time,2 in country & 2 on board ships.. It’s the 2 who served in country I’m so very, very proud of. Older bro. Mike was a SeaBee & volunteered for any mission they need someone for. Like he tells me I was 19 & stupid. Thank You Lord for keeping him safe for 2 tours. My “baby” bro. John was in hell during the closing days or withdrawel of American troops. He was on Firebase Ripcord, never heard of it….not surprised Pres. Nixion ordered a total news blackout so the American people would not know our loved ones were being picked off easilly without much support, out of rations, & just a prayer of getting off alive. My younger bro,John, survived that hell, his best friend didn’t. He came home eventually quietly & with no notice with the VietNam Medal, they all did, Air Com Medal, Purple Heart & the Bronze Star. God Bless My Brother he will always be my hero.
